ATTEC assisted a steel fabricator-builder Köylüoğlu for their bid in covering of 6,000 m² roof area for a performance center in Istanbul with 10000 seats. The structure designed and proposed was a doubly-curved grid-shell dome in tubular structural steel. The short side span of the roof elliptic dome in the plan was 50 m and the long side span was160 m. The total tonnage was 450. This very low tonnage value also included lounge and lighting structures below the dome.
