A visitor center and excavation house project in Konya, designed with a steel and composite flooring system, built on a reinforced concrete strip foundation, and formed by connecting timber structures on these systems.

Being close to historical ruins, the foundation of the building has been chosen as a continuous foundation with minimum excavation.
In this 3,700m2 project, consisting of 8 blocks, bridges, an observation tower, and a water tank structure, since the timber joining elements are rigid, the column-beam connections were designed as moment joints, and the horizontal stability was provided with cross bracing members or timber carcass walls.
