ATTEC was responsible for conceptual structural modeling and optimization of the winter garden and indoor pool roof with glulam timber arches supported by glulam timber girders and concrete columns in Antalya, Turkey. Complying with the architect EPA’s scheme, the glulam arch roof beams were 17x50cm custom sections spanning over 15m and spread 175cm apart. Wind, seismic, and gravity structural analysis was made as per Euro Code 5 design provisions.
