ATTEC worked for Enka/Bechtel consortium for the structural steel design of this airport. The structural steel tonnage for this project is 27000. The roof is a curved steel truss system designed with pipe members. The steel trusses and floor framing are supported by concrete columns with corbels. For the passenger terminals, steel composite trusses and steel built-up box bridges are used for flooring. ATTEC responsibilities include designing the structural steel connections and preparing construction documents and shop drawings for the composite deck structure and the internal pedestrian steel bridges scope (4500tons).
